Services.

The MSK Institute treats problems involving the Musculoskeletal System including joints, bones, tendons, ligaments and nerves. We provide a thorough assessment including a complete consultation and physical examination.

If further information is required we have access to advanced radiological imaging facilities onsite at both of our practices.

Our aim is to provide education into your MSK problems and then use minimally invasive therapies to get you back to enjoying life with reduced pain and freedom of movement.

See some of our procedures below.

Ultrasound Guided Steroid Injection

Conditions such as arthritis or sciatica with an acute flare-up in pain or swelling may benefit from a steroid or 'cortisone' injection. This is performed into the target area with Ultrasound guidance to treat shoulder, elbow, writst, hip, knee and ankle pain, among others.

Using specialised cells from a blood sample to then inject into a target area to help heal and regenerate. This is performed using Ultrasound guidance alongside Radiologists for safety and accuracy. For more information and bookings:

Spine problems can be difficult to diagnose and treat. Fluoroscopy is a minimally invasive, low-radiation procedure to safely guide injections into the target areas and block the pain. Thus diagnosing the problem and relieving the pain simultaneously.

Low back pain can often come from discs or vertebrae in your spine and may be treated effectively and safely by a minimally invasive ablation procedure.

Chronic back pain is often not appropriate for surgery. Rhizolysis treats the pain coming from the joints in your back without the higher risks of surgery.  This is performed with strict criteria to ensure it is the right procedure for you.

Shockwave Therapy

Directing high energy sound waves into painful, injured or degenerative tissue within the body. Aim is to reduce sensitivity in the damaged area, reduce symptoms and accelerate healing by increasing blood circulation and cellular regeneration.
