About Dr Jordan Davis

Dr Jordan Davis practices MSK Medicine with a focus on treating the whole patient with a minimally invasive approach. After graduating from Otago Medical School, he has worked and trained across New Zealand hospitals and private practices gaining experience in Orthopaedic Surgery, Radiology and General Practice before training in Musculoskeletal Medicine. 

Dr Jordan Davis promotes an evidence-based practice using modern technology and minimally invasive procedures such as Basivertebral nerve ablation, facet joint radiofrequency ablation, rhizolysis and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). He is currently involved in academic research with Orthosports looking into treatment of Frozen Shoulder.

Outside of work his time is spent with his family, farming in Northland, and any pursuits involving the oceans and mountains.

About Dr Josh Lee

Dr Josh Lee is a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physician who completed medical school at Otago University. He has a predominant background in Emergency Medicine, where he recognised a significant treatment gap for spine and musculoskeletal conditions.

He is currently training in interventional pain techniques, focusing on ultrasound and X-ray guided procedures. His interests include spine pain, complex MSK diagnosis, joint and nerve injections, and radiofrequency ablation. He also works part-time as a GP with a holistic, patient-centred approach.

Outside of work, he enjoys surfing, spearfishing, and snow skiing, and often returns to Gisborne and Mt Maunganui.

About Dr Ben O'Keeffe

Dr Ben O'Keeffe graduated from the University of Otago in 2012 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He has worked across a range of medical specialties as a registrar and now focusing on musculoskeletal medicine. He is currently a research fellow with a special interest in sports medicine and ultrasound-guided joint injections.

Outside of medicine, Dr Ben O'Keeffe is an internationally recognised rugby referee. He has officiated at the highest levels of the sport, including the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cups, and the British & Irish Lions tours in 2021 and 2025.

Dr Ben O'Keeffe combines his experiences both on and off the field to promote excellent communication, active listening, mutual respect, and strong health advocacy. His approach is centred on delivering patient-focused care with professionalism and empathy

About Dr Nazeef Malik

Born and raised in Kenya, Dr Nazeef Malik graduated from University of Nairobi in 2005 then moved to New Zealand in 2009 with his wife, an Osteopath.

Having initially worked around New Zealand in Orthopaedics over 8 years, he then specialised in Urgent Care and is now furthering his career specialising in Musculoskeletal Medicine.

 

Dr Nazeef Malik is a thorough and compassionate doctor who is patient-centred in his care, ensuring patients have a sound understanding of their diagnoses and are involved in decision making for their treatment. He focuses on working together to achieve optimal health and believes strongly in health advocacy and health literacy.

 

Dr Nazeef Malik spends his spare time with his young family and is a competitive golfer,  clay target shooter, and plays on the New Zealand doctors men's football team at the World Medical Football Championships. He also provides event medical cover for NPC, Super Rugby, endurance events and is the doctor for NZ Open Golf annually.

About Dr Jason Chin

Dr Jason Chin was born and raised in Wellington, before completing his medical degree at University of Otago, and later his Specialist Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Medicine. He was drawn to Musculoskeletal Medicine due to its ability to diagnose and treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions and make improvements in patients’ quality of life largely through treatment of persistent musculoskeletal pain.

Jason has experience in both public and private healthcare settings; including roles in the Burwood Hospital Musculoskeletal Service, and a 3 year period as a match day doctor for the Canterbury Rugby Football Union and the Crusaders.

He takes a special interest in interventional pain management, particularly in the spine, and keeps up-to-date as a member of the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society.


Jason is a Senior Clinical Lecturer for the University of Otago, teaching in post-graduate courses. He is also involved in tutoring point of care ultrasound for clinicians both locally, and at the Australian Institute of Ultrasound.

About Dr Jonathan Kuttner 

Dr Jonathan Kuttner is a distinguished Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physician who has over 35 years medical expertise. He has a predominant background in trigger point therapy and chronic pain management. 

 

Jonathan co-authored "Life After Pain" book and launched website where he documents significant treatment Youtube videos for spine / musculoskeletal conditions.  


Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, hang gliding, kite surfing, tennis, practicing Aikido and other outdoor adventures.

About Dr Ting Wang 

Dr Ting Wang is a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physician who completed medical school at Xi'an Jiaotong University in China, postgraduate Musculoskeletal Medicine training through Otago University, NZCMM (New Zealand College of Musculoskeletal Medicine) MSK fellowship training and NZCGP (New Zealand College of General Practice) fellowship training in New Zealand.

 

She is currently a member of IPSIS (International Pain and Spine Intervention Society) and IASP (International Association for the Study of Pain). She has completed full ultrasound training courses through New Zealand MSK Ultrasound.  


Dr Ting Wang has a special interest in interventional pain management and offers ultrasound-guided interventions to treat various pain conditions. She has joined formal training in spine and musculoskeletal interventions through NZCMM, focusing on X-ray-guided procedures.
